![]() ![]() I'd seen a video about using the ones from : I'd seen video that extolled (sp?) the virtues of getting the ones for the V850.but I can't seem to find those available online.they have glass in the holder which seems would be good to completely flatten the negatives. I have the Epson V600 scanner and the holders/tray for film that came with it, no glass and look a bit rickety. In spite of myself, I think I might have gotten some keepers on the first 3 rolls of 120. Please keep this in mind.I just got back my first B&W negatives from my 6x12 Ondu wooden pinhole camera. My average is likely around 2 days, but there are occasions where orders are very high and I may need all 5 business days before I am able to ship your holder. As such, I ask for 5 business days handling before shipping. I do not typically maintain an inventory of my film holders as most are custom made upon order placement. Please pay particular attention to the "handling" days before shipping as noted above. Simply pushing a green button on the front of your scanner (common with Epson models) to scan a film strip will not work with most aftermarket film holders. Please ensure you know how to set your scanner/software for full manual control. Depending on your model and software, masking of individual frames for scanning may be necessary for the best results. Aftermarket holders for odd film sizes will usually require the ability to manually scan film strips with "thumbnail" modes turned off. Utilizing your 120 OEM holder may not be strictly necessary with some scanners, but utilizing your stock holder aids in proper positioning and can help avoid calibration and focus issues. Important: This negative holder is designed to sit inside the stock 120 film holder (directly on the glass) that shipped with your Canon or Epson scanner. For best usage, you will need your film area guide to aid in proper alignment for scanning. Specifications for the 110 negative holder:Įpson 800/850 users: Due to the built in anti-newton glass in your OEM holders, you will not be able to use your stock 120 holder for alignment, as described below. You will need to cut your film to adapter length for proper use. Important: Our film adapters for flatbed scanners are not designed to be used with uncut filmstrips. Please inquire about customization options. The 110 negative holder is available for other brands of flatbed film scanners at the same price. ![]() This negative holder will also work with 16 mm movie films. This was CAD designed and manufactured for use with the obsolete 110 film format that became popular in the 1970s. This is a 110 film format negative holder for use with the Epson Perfection V700, V750, V800 and V850 flatbed film scanners (US Patent Pending). ![]()
